MGM Polytechnic College, Pampakuda is located on a green serene hillock of 11 acres by the side of Muvattupuzha – Piravom Road. The College is managed by Noble Educational and Charitable Trust which is committed to ensure International Standards in Career Orientation. It started functioning in September 2011 with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE], New Delhi and is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.The College is certified by ISO 9001:2008.Inspired by an incandescent dream to introduce new paradigms in quality education and produce soaring beacons in the professional ecosystem, the Geevarghese Yohannan Charitable Trust had set out on a journey which led to the inception of Mar Gregorios Memorial Group of Institutions in the year 1993, named after the eminent Saint Geevarghese Mar Gregorios, popularly known as Parumala Thirumeni (Bishop of Parumala).
